Monitor · FlashTower Monitor
AvailableKnow what changed. Know what needs attention.
FlashTower Monitor keeps a history of every AI system in your FlashTower inventory and reports each change to its access, ownership, and autonomy. Every change is classified by fixed, published rules — never by guesswork — and anything that needs a decision becomes an alert that explains why it matters and what to check. Monitor observes and reports; your team decides what to do. FlashTower changes a system only through FlashTower Guard, after your own team approves the action.
Details
What it detects today
Monitor re-observes your AI inventory whenever a system, permission, or assessment changes, and on a daily schedule. Each difference is recorded with the previous and current state, when it was detected, and its source.
- New AI systems, and systems no longer present
- Permission increases and decreases, including new reach to another system
- New financial, administrative, production, code-execution, repository, or database access
- New access to sensitive data (health, payment, credentials, legal, personal)
- Autonomy increases, riskier credentials, owner and vendor changes, approval changes
Alerts without alert fatigue
Severity is deterministic: financial or administrative authority is Critical, production access or code execution is High, confidential data access is Medium, an extra read permission is Low. The same unchanged condition never alerts twice.
- One active alert per condition; repeats are counted, not re-sent
- Per-person email thresholds, cooldowns, and a weekly digest
- Suppression rules for known, accepted conditions — with reasons and expiry
- Acknowledge, assign, mark reviewed, accept risk with justification, resolve, add notes and evidence
Observe and report — you stay in control
Monitor itself only observes: it never revokes access, disables accounts, stops agents, or changes permissions. It tells you what changed, why it matters, and the steps to consider. If you want FlashTower to act, FlashTower Guard turns an alert into a response action — revoke a key or OAuth grant, rotate a credential, suspend an agent, terminate a session — that runs only after your own owners, admins, or security admins approve it, or under an automation policy an owner or admin explicitly authorized. Guard is off by default, dry-run by default, and needs a separate write grant from you. Without a connected integration that can perform the action, approved actions are recorded and your team completes them in the provider's console.
Optional integrations
Monitor observes what your team records in FlashTower and what assessments capture. Optional integrations for 12 providers — GitHub, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, OpenAI, Anthropic, Slack, Salesforce, Stripe, and Supabase — can feed the same change history automatically; each one is listed in the app with its current availability. FlashTower only reads through them, requests the narrowest scope each provider offers, and collects security metadata such as apps, grants, keys, and permissions — not email, documents, source code, or secret values.
Frequently asked questions
- Does FlashTower Monitor catch every AI risk?
- No. No monitoring system detects every change, threat, or AI behavior. Monitor reports the changes it can observe in the sources connected to it. Its findings and alerts are informational and are not a guarantee of detection or prevention.
- Will FlashTower change anything in my systems?
- Not unless you approve it. Monitor only observes and reports. FlashTower changes a system only through FlashTower Guard, which is off and in dry-run by default, requires a separate write grant, and runs an action only after your organization's owners, admins, or security admins approve it — or under an automation policy an owner or admin explicitly authorized. FlashTower staff cannot approve actions for you.
